User Guide: Access and Security

Here you will find information on how to create an account, log in, and keep your profile secure.


🔐 Registration and Login

Create an Account

If you are a new user, you can create an account in two ways:

  1. Email Registration:
    • Enter your full name, a valid email address, and choose a strong password.
    • Email Confirmation: Immediately after registration, we send a confirmation email. You must click the link in the email to activate your account. Check your spam folder if you don't receive it within a few minutes.
  2. Social Login: Use your existing Google or Facebook account for instant access without having to remember a new password.

Log In

Once your account is activated, log in with your email and password.

  • Remember Me: Check this box if you want the system to remember your session on this device (recommended only on private devices).
  • Social Login: You can also log in directly via Google or Facebook if your account is connected.

🔑 Manage Your Password

Forgot Password

If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the login page:

  1. Click on "Forgot password?".
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click the link in the email we send you. For security reasons, the link is only valid for a limited period (typically 60 minutes).
  4. Choose and confirm your new password.

Change Password (when logged in)

You can change your password at any time to increase security:

  1. Go to Settings -> Security (or click on your profile).
  2. Enter your current password.
  3. Enter your new password and confirm it in the field below.
  4. Click "Save".

🌍 Language and Region

Change Language

The application supports both Danish and English. You can change the language in two ways:

  1. Quick Switch: Use the language selector (flag icon) in the top menu to switch instantly.
  2. Profile Settings: Under Settings -> Preferences, you can choose your preferred default language, which the system will remember for next time.

🛡️ Security and Troubleshooting

  • Session Expired: If you have been inactive for a long time, you will be logged out automatically for security reasons. Simply log in again to continue.
  • Error Messages: If the system shows red text under a field, it typically means a typo or that the information does not match our system. Please check your entry.
