Connecting to Your Accounting System

To complete your automation, the system needs to communicate with your accounting software. This allows approved entries to be sent directly for bookkeeping.

Supported Systems

We currently support direct integration with:

  • Dinero: Seamless transfer of journals and documents.

How to Connect (e.g., Dinero)

  1. Go to Connection Status under Integrations in the sidebar.
  2. Select Bookkeeping System and click Connect Dinero.
  3. Secure Login: You will be redirected to Dinero's official login page. Log in with your usual credentials.
  4. Select Organization: After logging in, you will see a list of your Dinero organizations. Select the one you want to use with this system.
  5. Bookkeeping Method: Choose between "Ledger" (direct entry) or "Voucher" (manual approval in Dinero).

What Happens After Connecting?

  • Chart of Accounts: The system automatically fetches your chart of accounts from Dinero. This includes all your expense, revenue, and VAT accounts.
  • Automatic Sync: Your accounts are kept in sync. If you add a new account in Dinero, it will appear in our system shortly after.
  • Direct Export: When you click "Approve" in the Cash Journal, the entry is immediately created in your Dinero account.
  • Document Transfer: The actual document file (PDF/image) is also transferred to Dinero and attached to the entry, ensuring you are always compliant with bookkeeping laws.

Troubleshooting

  • Connection Expired: For security reasons, the connection to Dinero may expire after some time. If you see a connection error, simply go to the Connection Status page and click "Reconnect."
  • Missing Accounts: If you just added an account in Dinero and don't see it yet, you can click "Refresh Accounts" in the Bookkeeping section.
