Manage Your Bank Connection
You can monitor and manage your bank integrations at any time to ensure your financial data is flowing correctly.
Monitoring Status
Under Connection Status in the sidebar menu, you can see the health of your integrations:
- Active Status: A green indicator confirms that the connection is technically sound and authorized.
- Last Synced: Shows the exact time of the most recent data fetch from your bank.
- Consent Expiry: Displays when your current bank authorization will expire.
Maintaining the Connection
- Reconnect: For security reasons (PSD2 regulations), bank connections typically expire after 90-180 days. If your connection has expired or is marked as inactive, simply click Reconnect to renew your authorization via your bank's secure login.
- Disconnect: If you wish to stop the integration entirely, you can click Disconnect Bank. This will immediately stop all future data fetching.
- Multiple Connections: You can connect multiple banks or multiple accounts from the same bank to cover all your business activities.
Troubleshooting
If you find that transactions are missing or the connection reports an error:
- Check Expiry: Verify if your bank consent has expired (requires reconnection).
- Refresh List: Sometimes the bank's API might be temporarily unavailable. Try refreshing the page or waiting a few minutes.
- Re-authorize: If problems persist, try disconnecting and reconnecting the bank completely.
- Account Selection: When reconnecting, ensure you have selected all the specific accounts you want the system to access.
