Setting Up Your Bank Connection
To allow the system to match your documents with your payments, we need access to your bank transactions. This guide shows you how to set up the connection securely.
How to Do It
- Go to the Connection Status section under Integrations in the sidebar menu.
- Select Country: Ensure the correct country is selected (e.g., Denmark).
- Select Bank: Choose your bank from the list of supported financial institutions.
- Connect: Click the Connect to Bank button.
- Secure Redirect: You will be securely redirected to your bank's official login page (e.g., using MitID in Denmark).
- Authorize: Log in using your usual credentials and review the permissions.
- Account Selection: CRITICAL: Remember to check all the specific accounts you want the system to access.
- Return: Once confirmed, you will be automatically returned to our platform.
Security
We never see or store your codes or login information. The connection is made via a secure, encrypted channel approved by financial authorities (PSD2). Access is "read-only," meaning we can see transactions but never move money or make payments.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why can't I see all my accounts? When you log in to the bank, you must explicitly select each account you want to share. If you missed one, you can simply reconnect and select it.
What do I do if the connection fails? Try disconnecting and setting up the connection again. If the problem persists, it may be due to temporary issues with the bank's API or their technical provider.
How often is data updated? The system automatically fetches new transactions several times a day. You can also manually trigger a fetch from the Bank Statements section.
