User Guide: Menu Overview
This guide provides a detailed overview of the navigation menu and the features available to you in the application, both on desktop and mobile devices.
Navigation Basics
Desktop Sidebar
On larger screens, the navigation menu is located on the left side of the screen. You can expand or minimize this sidebar using the toggle button at the top of the menu to maximize your workspace.
Mobile Menu
On mobile devices, the menu is hidden by default to save space. You can access it by tapping the "hamburger" menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top header bar. Tapping this will slide out the navigation menu.
Daily Tasks
This section contains the tools you will use most frequently for your day-to-day bookkeeping and financial management.
- Get Started: This is your starting point. It provides a step-by-step guide to help you set up your company profile, connect your mailbox, link your bank, and integrate your accounting system.
- Cash Journal: The central hub for your financial records. Here you review bank transactions, attach documents, and approve entries for export to your accounting system.
- Source Documents: Your digital archive for all supporting documentation. Upload, view, and organize your invoices and receipts. The system uses AI to automatically extract data and match documents to transactions.
References
This section provides access to the foundational data that supports your financial reporting.
- Account Plan: View and manage your chart of accounts fetched from your accounting system. You can refresh this list at any time to see new accounts.
- Bank Statements: Access and review all imported bank transactions. You can manually fetch new transactions for specific periods from here.
Integrations
Manage and monitor your connections with external services.
- Connection Status: A real-time dashboard showing the health of your bank and accounting system integrations. You can see if connections are active, when they were last synced, and reconnect if authorization has expired.
Settings
- Company Profile: Update your company details, VAT number, and contact information.
- Subscription: Manage your plan, view limits, and upgrade to access more features.
